Tawala.com is a product which allows people to build small form-based applications and publish them to the web so that others may use or improve up on them. Their initial branding and user interface was done by the programmers working on the product and was lacking in the style department. It was also very technical and off-putting to new users.
In an effort to "consumerify" the product I developed large icons for each of their featured applications. I worked with the Tawala team to write the copy and choose what content would be displayed.
